Income Limits

Generally, participation in the Homeownership Incubator and Home Direct programs is limited to households with total household income up to 120% of the area median income.

Minimum Income – The minimum household income is an amount capable of supporting all expenses associated with homeownership.

Maximum Income – The maximum household income is 120% of the AMI for the area in which the property is located.

While Habitat Baldwin County’s programmatic requirements allow for the eligibility of households with income up to 120%, some of the home buyer assistance programs and other funders with whom we partner have lower income limits (typically 80% AMI). In such cases, certain home buyer assistance funds or properties may not be available to households between 80% and 120% AMI.

Income limits are based upon income limits issued by HUD each year. The limits above are effective as of May 30, 2024 and will remain in effect until HUD issues new numbers in its FY25.*
